Scott, in conjunction with Lee and Leo, has chosen many interesting and inventive cultivars in addition to the good old standards that we know we love. In 2008 we grew over 60 different varieties of fruits and vegetables, experimenting to find our favorites. We will continue to experiment, planting more citrus trees and trying out other new varieties, but will also begin to focus our energy on a few crops, winter squashes and melons to name a few. 2009 is also a landmark year for Hudson Ranch as we build our first greenhouse and began our own CSA. Our produce is sold through direct sales to restaurants, both in San Francisco and in Napa, at the Oxbow Produce and Grocery in Napa and at our stand at the Tuesday and Saturday downtown Napa Farmer’s Market!
